Thai Hom Mali Rice is the pride of the Thai people that has gained worldwide
recognition. It has won the‘World’s Best Rice Award’ seven times from 13
competitions.
Not only does Thailand have a top rice variety, it also has one of the world’s best rice cultivation areas at Thung Kula Rong-Hai. The unique geographical properties of
the area have given the Thai Hom Mali Rice grown here a quality that is matchless.

Because Thung Kula Rong-Hai is a fertile area with a perfect combination of
natural soil, water and climate, the rice grown here has a special quality not found
anywhere else, and was therefore the first Thai product to be awarded the EU
Geographical Indication.
Srisangdao Rice is grown with the na yot, or Direct Seeding method, by
encouraging farmers to join the Srisangdao Direct Seeding (Na Yot) Village Project,
which reduces the number of rice seeds planted, allowing space for each plant to thrive,
thereby doubling rice yields per rai.
This “low effort, high yield” practice has resulted in twice the harvest for each crop, helping farmers reduce costs and increase income,improving their quality of life tremendously.
The paddy husk from the milling process is recycled into environmentally-friendly
packaging that reflects the identity and source of the Khao Hom Mali Thung Kula Rong-
Hai. This packaging has received design awards from many countries.
Srisangdao Rice hopes that the Thai people and the global community will have
a chance to experience the original taste of Thai Hom Mali Rice straight from Thung
Kula Rong-Hai, lovingly grown through the direct seeding method that requires close
attention from farmers, and is carefully milled to yield premium quality Khao Hom Mali
Thung Kula Rong-Hai that is aromatic, fluffy yet chewy when cooked, filled with
nutritional goodness.
